On October 20, 2026, Indian cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir and VVS Laxman took to social media to extend Vijayadashami (Dussehra) wishes, with Suryakumar Yadav also joining the greetings.
They emphasised themes of valor and ethical righteousness, and Suryakumar Yadav advocated for universal peace. The occasion, known as Dussehra, celebrates the victory of Bhagwan Shri Ram over Ravana and prompts reflection on personal shortcomings and the need to challenge societal evils.
