Cricket
Sri Lanka and England met in the final group match of the men’s tri-series one-day international in Lahore on 29 October 2026, with live updates reporting the early stages.
England were 0-0 (Banton 0, Duckett 0).
Banton nearly edged Asitha Fernando’s first delivery to slip but the chance fell short, and Asitha bowled a maiden to start.
The sun was out, drums were rolling, the ground was "full only with empty green seats", and the call to prayer rang out.
