Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma attend Krishna Das kirtan in Mumbai; videos go viral

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma attended American singer Krishna Das' kirtan in Mumbai on Sunday evening, and video clips of the couple chanting circulated widely on social media. The appearance formed part of Krishna Das' India tour.
In footage from the event the pair are seated next to each other and sing along with the assembled devotees; Anushka Sharma is seen clapping and singing while Virat Kohli glances toward the camera briefly before turning back to the performance. At the gathering they join others in chanting "Radhe-Radhe" and "Hare Ram." The couple were spotted at the Gateway of India earlier on the same day.
Fans posted and shared clips from the kirtan across social platforms, generating a range of reactions. A post shared by Bollywood Bubble (@bollywoodbubble) and another by Team Innovation (@team.innovation) captured moments from the evening and were among the items circulated.
Krishna Das, who performed the Mumbai kirtan, is described as an American singer known for devotional songs that blend traditional Indian mantras and Western music. The Mumbai concert was listed as part of his India tour.
This was not the first time Kohli and Sharma have attended a Krishna Das performance together; they were also present at a similar kirtan at Union Chapel in London in July 2026. The couple have frequently been seen visiting spiritual places and attending religious events.
They have shown an interest in the teachings of Neem Karoli Baba and have visited spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan several times to seek his blessings; those visits have attracted attention on social media.
Virat Kohli is set to play in India’s five-match ODI series against New Zealand, starting on November 4, 2026, and the kirtan appearance came as he prepares for that series.
