Watson says Gambhir is 'chopping and changing' and calls India 'unsettled'

Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson criticised Gautam Gambhir for frequently changing India’s playing XI and batting order after India’s defeat by West Indies in the five-match T20I series, in an article published on 2026-10-10.
Watson said those changes affect team consistency and praised Gambhir for backing players such as Sanju Samson.
West Indies chased 250 to beat India by six wickets, with Shai Hope unbeaten on 102 as the result levelled the five-match T20I series at 1-1.
