Harry Wilson has been recalled to Wales' squad and 20-year-old goalkeeper Joe Duncan has received his first senior call-up for the Nations League fixtures in Oslo on Saturday, 14 November and at the Cardiff City Stadium the following Tuesday.

Wilson, who has 69 senior caps, was selected despite not featuring for his country since March because of injuries; Leeds United team-mate Joe Rodon is also back after a hamstring problem in August. Cardiff City playmaker Rubin Colwill has been recalled, while Jordan James is absent after sustaining an injury while playing for Wolves against the Bluebirds last Saturday. The only newcomer is Duncan, who is on loan at National League side Southend United from Bristol City, was born in Bristol but qualifies for Wales through his maternal grandfather from Cardiff, has won two caps for Wales Under-21s and replaces Everton back-up Tom King in the senior set-up.

Wales sit third in Group A4 and have one win from four matches so far, that victory having come against Norway in Cardiff last month. The squad has been picked with the aim of preserving Wales' place in the Nations League's top tier as the campaign reaches its final two fixtures.

Craig Bellamy's side could finish second, third or fourth in the group. A top-two finish would send Wales to the Nations League quarter-finals in March 2027. Finishing third would require a relegation play-off against a League B team in March, while finishing bottom would lead to either a relegation play-off or direct relegation depending on Wales' ranking against other League A groups.

Wales' 26-player selection is: Goalkeepers: Karl Darlow (Manchester United), Danny Ward (Wrexham), Joe Duncan (Southend United - on loan from Bristol City). Defenders: Connor Roberts (Burnley), Ben Davies (Tottenham Hotspur), Chris Mepham (West Bromwich Albion), Joe Rodon (Leeds United), Ben Cabango (Swansea City), Neco Williams (Nottingham Forest), Jay Dasilva (Coventry City), Jayden Lienou (Leeds United). Midfielders: Ethan Ampadu (Leeds United), Josh Sheehan (Bolton Wanderers), Kai Andrews (Oxford United - on loan from Coventry City), Rubin Colwill (Cardiff City), Joel Colwill (Cardiff City), Harry Wilson (Leeds United), Liam Cullen (Leicester City), David Brooks (Bournemouth). Forwards: Brennan Johnson (Everton), Sorba Thomas (Hull City), Lewis Koumas (Liverpool), Kieffer Moore (Wrexham), Mark Harris (Oxford United), Dan James (Leeds United), Cian Ashford (Cardiff City).

The upcoming fixtures are Norway v Wales at Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo (17:00 GMT) and Wales v Portugal at Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff (19:45 GMT).

Wales travel to Ullevaal Stadion to play Norway on Saturday, 14 November and will conclude the group stage with the home match against Portugal the following Tuesday.
