WWE Crown Jewel 2026: Oba Femi returns as Penta and Je’Von Evans win World Tag Team Championship

Penta and Je’Von Evans defeated The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Austin Theory to win the World Tag Team Championship at WWE Crown Jewel 2026 on November 7 at The Venue (ANB Arena) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Oba Femi made a surprise return during the match, confronting Bronson Reed and influencing the finish.

The Crown Jewel premium live event featured two Crown Jewel Championship contests and the World Tag Team Championship among its marquee bouts, with titleholders and challengers trading weeks of attacks and interference. The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Austin Theory entered as defending champions; challengers Penta and Je’Von Evans had built momentum after prior victories, and betting odds favored Penta and Je’Von Evans for the win. The card aimed to resolve ongoing personal rivalries and title contention.

Penta and Je’Von Evans began the tag match aggressively, executing dives to the outside and forcing early chaos; Evans landed a massive frog splash on Theory. Breakker halted the challengers’ momentum shortly afterward, while Maxxine Dupri interceded at ringside to assist Theory.

The champions used their size to isolate Penta and control much of the mid-match period, keeping him away from his corner until Evans secured a hot tag. Evans produced a sequence of high-impact offense, including a standing shooting star press that yielded a near fall, but The Vision repeatedly thwarted pin attempts.

Bronson Reed then interfered while the referee was distracted, attacking both Penta and Evans; Breakker followed with a top-rope bulldog that Penta kicked out of. Oba Femi returned at that moment, confronted Reed, struck him with a running European uppercut and threw him through a table near the stage, and his appearance distracted Breakker long enough for Penta to mount a top-rope attack.

Back in the ring Penta hit a Mexican Destroyer on Theory and Evans connected with an OG Cutter for the three-count, giving Penta and Je’Von Evans the victory and the new World Tag Team Championships. The win ended The Vision’s four-month reign, during which the champions had not defended the titles on television or at a PLE.
