WWE Money in the Bank 2026 set for October 10 at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans

WWE Money in the Bank 2026 takes place on October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and features a five-match card that includes two ladder matches, two championship bouts and a heavyweight showdown.
The event’s top-billed title matches are Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight and Stephanie Vaquer defending the Women’s World Championship in a triple threat against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan; the card also features a men’s briefcase ladder match and a women’s briefcase ladder match. The Reigns–Knight feud intensified after Knight attacked Reigns following his title defence against Penta on September 14, while Vaquer reclaimed the Women’s World Championship from Morgan in Chile on September 12 with Lynch serving as special guest referee.
Roman Reigns arrives to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight; Knight has an opportunity to win his first WWE World Championship after the attack on September 14. Reigns enters as the favorite in the latest betting odds.
Oba Femi meets Bronson Reed in what the build has billed as a heavyweight showdown; Reed’s association with The Vision has fuelled their rivalry and Femi aims to establish his dominance on the main roster. Femi currently holds the betting edge in their recent face-offs.
The women’s ladder match for the briefcase will feature Roxanne Perez, Tiffany Stratton, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne and Lash Legend. Perez leads the betting market for the women’s briefcase, with Lash Legend listed behind her.
Stephanie Vaquer will defend the Women’s World Championship in a triple threat against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan; because it is a triple threat the champion can lose the title without being pinned. Vaquer reclaimed the championship from Morgan on September 12 in Chile, with Lynch acting as special guest referee in that title change.
The men’s ladder match for the briefcase includes Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, CM Punk and Kevin Owens. All of those competitors appeared on the Friday Night SmackDown October 9 show, and the promotion noted Money in the Bank’s long-standing place on the pay-per-view calendar as this edition’s competitors prepare to compete.
The winner of either briefcase will receive a guaranteed championship opportunity that can be cashed in within 12 months, a stipulation that remains central to the stakes at Money in the Bank 2026.
