WWE Women’s Money in the Bank — complete winners list

Tiffany Stratton won the 2024 WWE Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at WWE’s Money in the Bank event in 2024, prevailing over Iyo Sky, Chelsea Green, Naomi, Lyra Valkyria and Zoey Stark. WWE has staged a Women’s Money in the Bank match since 2017 and has witnessed a total of NINE Women’s MITB matches.
The Money in the Bank concept originated in 2005 as a multi-competitor ladder match featuring between five and ten participants competing to retrieve a briefcase suspended 20 feet above the ring. The briefcase contains a championship contract that can be cashed in for an immediate title match at any time and any place provided a referee is present. The matches were held only for the men’s roster until 2016, and WWE introduced the Women’s Money in the Bank in 2017 following the boom in the women’s revolution and the success of the MITB matches.
Every woman who has won the Money in the Bank contract has become a champion by cashing in that contract. The pattern of winners converting the briefcase into a title is consistent across the women’s matches listed to date.
Asuka is the exception among the Women’s MITB winners: she was granted the Raw Women’s Championship directly without cashing in the contract.
The contract has been cashed in mostly on the SmackDown Women’s Championship, and the briefcase has been cashed in most often against Charlotte Flair.
