Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah will miss India's ODI series against the West Indies, the start of India's preparation for the 2027 ODI World Cup, the Times of India reported on September 24, 2026.
They will miss the series because of fitness issues.
Head coach Gautam Gambhir emphasized that Pandya needs match practice before the World Cup and said senior players might need rest to properly transition between formats during their crowded schedule.
