Grinding Gear Games to reveal Path of Exile 2 version 1.0 on November 3; launch set for December 11, 2026

Grinding Gear Games announced in an official statement that it will reveal Path of Exile 2 version 1.0 on November 3, 2026, in a presentation ahead of the game's exit from Early Access. The studio confirmed the full game will launch as a free-to-play title on December 11, 2026.

The announcement arrives weeks before Path of Exile 2 leaves Early Access and precedes the December 11 launch. Grinding Gear Games said the November 3 showcase will reveal everything players need to know about the full release. A recently released trailer emphasised the title's dark fantasy atmosphere and story rather than providing detailed launch information.

Early Access for Path of Exile 2 has been described as successful and has drawn praise for its challenging combat, deep character customization, atmospheric world and darker storytelling. Those elements were highlighted in coverage of the early access period. Fans and observers are now awaiting the developer's full version presentation.

Grinding Gear Games has listed several areas players can expect to see addressed at launch, citing gameplay improvements, endgame content, new features, class updates and additional surprises planned for the full release. The studio framed the November 3 reveal as the event that will lay out those changes ahead of December 11.

Coverage accompanying the announcement characterised Path of Exile 2 as one of the larger action RPG releases of the year. The developer and media commentary alike noted that players will be able to access the complete game once it exits Early Access and arrives on December 11, 2026.
