India has named a six-member golf squad for the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, which will run from September 19 to October 4. The selection comprises three men and three women.

At the previous Asian Games in Hangzhou 2022, India finished with 106 medals overall. Anirban Lahiri, an Arjuna Awardee who had been among the favourites, finished 32nd in the individual golf event. The Indian men's golf team placed seventh and the women's team finished fourth at Hangzhou. Aditi Ashok became the first Indian woman to win an Asian Games golf medal, clinching silver in the women's individual event.

Aditi Ashok and Pranavi Urs have retained their places in the women's side and are joined by two-time Deaflympics gold medallist Diksha Dagar. The men's trio named for Aichi-Nagoya is Saptak Talwar, Veer Ahlawat and Yuvraj Sandhu. The full women's team selected is Aditi Ashok, Diksha Dagar and Pranavi Urs.

Across Asian Games competition to date, India have won seven golf medals, comprising three golds and four silvers. The delegation will look to add to that total at the Aichi-Nagoya Games.

Golf competition at the Asian Games begins on September 30 with Day 1 of both the men's and women's events. In India the Games will be live-streamed on the SonyLIV app and website and broadcast on Sony Sports Network channels.
