Mohsin Naqvi-led Pakistan Cricket Board proposed launching PSL Sixes, a six-a-side tournament, during the Pakistan Super League off-season, the Times of India reported on October 24, 2026.
PCB CEO Salman Naseer said the proposal aims to entertain fans and bring cricket to smaller cities.
Unlike the international Hong Kong Sixes, the tournament may feature franchise-based teams. The report added that Pakistan’s over-50s team has reportedly been denied permission to compete in India next year.
