Solo Sikoa betrayed Roman Reigns and The Bloodline and allied with LA Knight during the August 17 edition of WWE Raw at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The same broadcast featured an Intercontinental Championship defense in which Chad Gable defeated Rey Mysterio to retain the title.

The show served as fallout from Sikoa’s loss to Jey Uso the previous week, with Sikoa due to report back to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline as part of that storyline. Producers scheduled two additional matches linked to the World Heavyweight Championship number one contender’s tournament on the episode, and the card included a headline Intercontinental title defense by Gable. The broadcast also continued a storyline thread involving Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch.

Undercard results on the night included Je'Von Evans defeating JD McDonagh and Rey Fenix defeating El Fiscal. Sol Ruca picked up a win over Lyra Valkyria, and Dragon Lee defeated El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. These outcomes were among the matches listed on the show’s results sheet.

Chad Gable retained the Intercontinental Championship by defeating Rey Mysterio in the advertised title match. WWE’s social coverage described the encounter with the post: WHAT A MATCH!!! @WWEGable retains after an amazing match! The victory kept Gable as Intercontinental champion following the defense shown on Raw.

The program’s closing segment focused on Roman Reigns attempting to re-integrate Solo Sikoa into The Bloodline and ordering him to attack LA Knight. Sikoa instead struck Reigns with a Samoan Spike, then joined with LA Knight to clear members of The Bloodline from the ring, a sequence that confirmed Sikoa’s turn and left Sikoa and Knight standing in the ring.

Additional broadcast moments highlighted on WWE’s social feeds included an ambush by The Judgment Day on La Primera, a segment in which Liv Morgan appeared to spit gum at Stephanie Vaquer, and in-ring scenes described as an ambush from Big Cass. Social posts also showed a segment labeled A TOTAL beatdown of Solo Sikoa earlier in the show and later imagery of Sikoa delivering the spike to Roman Reigns.

WWE announced Money in the Bank as the next premium live event following SummerSlam 2026, scheduled for October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
